The Ring is awarded with a National Urban Design Award

The Ring has been recognized as the winner of the National Urban Design Awards (NUDA), in the Urban Fragments category. The Jury emphasized that “The Ring is an iconic work of urban art that strikes a balance between audacity, elegance, efficiency, and control while magnifying the experience of the city.” The NUDA are established by the Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC), the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects (CSLA) and the Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP).
