Announcement of the team selected to lead the pre-development study for Cité universitaire de Montréal
CCxA is part of the team led by the Sid Lee Architecture | STGM Architecture | LemayMichaud consortium to realize the pre-development study for the Cité universitaire de Montréal with Ivanhoe Cambridge on the site of the former Royal Victoria Hospital.
The Royal Vic is an iconic institution with a rich history, established in 1893 on the southern flank of Mount Royal. This important heritage project aims to transform a series of buildings into a world-class inter-university city, providing an intercultural and inclusive living environment for the Quebec and international student community, and ultimately promoting education and the advancement of knowledge.
