15 000 Temporary Overlay Markers (TOM) used for asphalting work

Commissioned by the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and realized thanks to the generous support of the City of Montreal, this installation celebrates the 375th anniversary of Montréal and the 50th anniversary of Expo 67. Ten different coloured TOMs sparkle like fireworks sparks. The psychedelic spirit of the sixties is expressed without inhibition through a succession of intertwined circular patterns in which the hues of colour blend into one another.
