Installation for the museum grounds
In conjunction with Diller and Scofidio’s American Lawn exhibition, we offered to turn the CCA’s ever-greener grass blue. A non-toxic paint was created for the project, which celebrates the North American obsession with the perfect lawn. This seminal work attests to the power of colour to defamiliarize the backdrops of everyday life and transform them into sites of renewed attention and contemplation.
